Flamenco Shows in Jerez

The city of Jerez is situated in the coastal province of Cadiz about an hour from the city of Seville. Jerez is known for its numerous bodegas which produce some of the finest sherry in the world, its famous Andalusian horse shows as well as the annual Motorcycle Gran Prix which is an important fixture on the championship circuit. The art of flamenco in Jerez is in equal standing: the city is often called the cradle of flamenco, referring to the important role the city enjoyed in the origins of flamenco. The history is still alive today, with some of flamenco's most famous singers, dancers and musicians calling Jerez their native city.
