Andalusian Night El Ranchito Torremolinos, Flamenco Show

Amazing horsemanship and truly spectacular horses. When I first arrived I expedited a water downed version of the show I say at the Spanish School in Jerez de la Frontera. But I was pleasantly surprised at the same level of skill and quality of horses as in Jerez. This show however was less traditional, though it certainly had traditional elements, with a modern infusion of work with the horses and the falmenco dancer. Highly recommend it. We booked the show with the flamenco dinner package and were surprised that we had to drive to another location after the horse show for that part of our booking. I will review it separately but can mention here that the dinner was nothing special and the flamenco show was not as professional as I have seen before and seemed to be highly geared for the tourists that they shuffle in off their tour buses. If your in the Malaga area and you love spanish horses then go see the show. You wont be disappointed.

Amazing hack on a lovely youngster in a private ride! Brilliant tour guide! Lovely horses that are well treated and looked after. Friendly atmosphere would definitely recommend for experienced riders and non experienced riders.

Decent artistic show. The indoor is a sauna advertised as an A/C venue. It has ventilation only.

Booked an evening hack for while on holiday in the area. Had a great time. Friendly English speaking guides and catered well for all abilities in our group. Wonderful views whilst out in the mountains. Highly recommend!

We booked a private ride which went out in the mountains. Worth every penny, the horses were extremely sweet and so well behaved! The lady instructor was so lovely and welcoming. We had stunning views and such a relaxing lovely ride! It was so nice to walk around and meet all of the horses. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience.

A huge ‘Thank You’ to everyone for a really lovely experience - beautiful horses and amazing staff that go the extra mile - went for a trek in the mountains and was the cherry on the top of my first visit to Spain!

Great experience in the Spanish countryside. Very enjoyable, guide was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful horses. We were allowed to gallop too and there were lots of great views. Can't wait to come back.

This is not the horse show venue. Maybe it used to be. Go on the road for 300m and the venue is on the left.

PLEASE NEVER GO HERE OR SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. The stable is very poorly managed. Horses are treated horribly. Horses given to the riders are DANGEROUS, and could SERIOUSLY hurt someone. The horses have barely any turnout, which is SO cruel to animals who needs plenty of acreage to run on. The stalls are extremely small, which is unfair to the horse’s welfare, the standard stall size is 12’ x 12’ ATLEAST for the average (1200 lb) horse, AT MINIMUM. These stalls were 10’ x 11’. You should NEVER stall a horse in such small stalls, it is simply dangerous for the horse to “cast” itself (not be able to get up because it’s too close to a wall) and simply not enough room for a horse to comfortably stand. The horse’s riding in double bridles (which require a EXPERIENCED rider, who know how to use the proper aids) were given to BEGINNERS. This is not only unsafe, but extremely cruel to the horse’s mouth, as a double bridle can be very uncomfortable if not in the hands of someone who knows how to use it. Several horses were rode in HARSH bits, that are VERY uncomfortable in the horses mouth. LARGE riders being put on horses they are WAY too big for, which is harmful to the horse’s back, and could result in serious damage being done to the horse’s spine. This place is the perfect example of a “riding facility” caring more about money and tourism than the actual care and wellbeing of their horses. Do better.

A nice show, not anything amazing. Some elements felt a lattice cruel such as the instils horse being made to beg and the metal mouth pieces Bering soo far up that horses are dribbling..

Prebooked this wonderful horse show in advance through hotel rep. Bus collected us at allocated time from allocated us stop on main road in Benalmádena. Short drive to Club Hipico El Ranchito where you can explore the stables prior to the start of the show. The horses are stunning and are trained in the dressage techniques to dance and perform to music. I had waited over 30 years to see these beautiful Andalusian Horses perform and I was not disappointed. There are refreshments on sale. The seated area provided great views of the show. Try to sit opposite main entrance gates for the best views. The show lasted approximately an hour with a short interval. Highly recommend this show and hope to return in the future.

We visited the show on Wednesday …and I have to say it is really cool. There is visible daily hard work because who little bit understand some work with horses appreciate the show. Definitely you have to visit El Ranchito!😎

Really lovely evening seeing the horse show followed by a drink at their bar. Would recommend going slightly earlier to meet some horses and get a good seat, plus taking a fan and wearing insect repellant.

Very very impressive horseshoe. Amazing how they can control the animals, and make them even jump a long way on 2 legs. Don't miss this show if you are in Torremolinos.

The equestrian show was fantastic. Easily 5-star entertainment. The seating, however, was extremely cramped. I'm not the smallest guy, but I'm also no giant at 5'11" and 190lbs. I literally had to sit with my knees angled to the side to avoid having my knees in someone's back. Smaller than a cheap airline. Would be great if they upgraded the facility.

Great show, beautiful horses, we enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended.
