Intimate and interesting flamenco dancing. The guitar player was terrific! Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The passion in the dance was like no other, truly a life changing experience. The food and drinks were perfecto!!!

Fantastic flamenco show. Fantastic coffee. Good view. Good seat and table Reallllly excellent service. As the payment had not yet gone through, but they let me watch anyway, it went through whilst I was there. My phone desperately needed charging for me to find my way back to the airbnb, so they charged it for me.

This what Flamenco is suppose to be. I felt grabbed from the moments the lights dimmed and the first string was strummed on the guitar. The dancing was phenomenal as was the music. Make your next night out in a place that is not rushing you in to rush you out for the next performance. To much of Flamenco is about getting as much money out of each show and this is not that kind of show. The artists loved what they where doing and the free drink with the show was not a bad addition. Thank you again for such a great night out. I only wish it could have been longer. Though I do not know where the performers would have gotten the energy. That was an explosion of energy from start to finish.

We had the most incredible experience at Cafe Ziryab experiencing their flamenco show. We have three daughters who have been heavily involved in dance and theater for twenty years, and I have never seen such passion on a stage as we did during this show. It was incredible! The setting was intimate, the food was delicious, the music and dancing were just phenomenal. 10/10 recommend!

This is a wonderful place to experience the art of Flamenco song and dance in an intimate setting. The staff was friendly and kind, and the food and drink service was fast and efficient. The dancers, the singer and the guitarist were mesmerizing, and they looked happy to be on stage, sharing their art and athleticism with the crowd. They brought passion, joy and intensity to their performance. It was my first time attending a Flamenco performance and I'm so glad we went with this intimate and personal setting, instead of with one of the larger, not commercialized performances in central Madrid. My thanks to the performers and staff of Café Ziryab for a wonderful evening!

What a gem of a place! We had an unforgettable experience at this cozy little café. The atmosphere was warm and homely, and the staff made us feel right at home. Our Italian waitress Irene was incredibly friendly and spoke excellent Spanish and English, which added a nice personal touch. The highlight of the evening was the amazing flamenco performance—it was absolutely mesmerizing! The dancers and artists were so talented, and they created such a lively, welcoming vibe. Everyone was friendly, and it really felt like we were part of something special. If you’re looking for a place with great food, incredible entertainment, and a genuine, cozy feel, this is it!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this place was absolutely phenomenal! I’ve been to 3 or 4 flamenco shows over the years and this one is by far the most authentic. Lots of local Spaniards in the audience. Wouldn’t come with a larger group due to the small venue, but for 2 or 3 people, would definitely recommend. Come early to get seats closer to the stage.

I had a really nice experience in Café Ziryab. It is a small but cosy place to watch flamenco with your partner, friends or family. The price is relative good if you just start to watch flamenco show. And the people working there are so nice. I would definitive recommend.

This flamenco show was absolutely unforgettable! From the start, the performers brought so much energy and passion. The dancers were incredible, moving with a mix of power and grace. Every step and spin felt full of emotion and tradition. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an intimate setting to experience this art. The service was incredible too. 10/10

When I planned a trip to Madrid for my birthday, I knew that I wanted to celebrate by seeing a Flamenco performance in person. Cafe Ziryab did not disappoint! The musicians and dancers were captivating, the service was great and the venue was so intimate, I was only 6 feet or so from the stage. Truly a magical evening!

We visited there with three friends on vacation. Could experienced great flamenco and tap dancing. All staff were so kind and well considered for the view from our seats to us asian foreigners. The service was very friendly and we could spend comfortable cosy time, specially nice and fresh sangria. Customers were also friendly and we had really fun time there. I'll definitely stop by again the next time I would visit Madrid.

We walked out of our way to this cafe that is in a regular neighborhood outside the city center One of the servers there very obviously despises tourists. He would only give seats that you can see the stage at a reasonable distance to Spaniards. One white tourist in front of me castigated the server for being so rude. This is really a TINY, run down neighborhood cafe for Spaniards to come and enjoy flamenco in a very simple fashion. The venue is really no bigger than a small restaurant or cafe. Just one female dancer and one male dancer. They wear very humble costumes. They dance with a great deal of passion, and it was interesting to watch. The show itself is really only about half an hour, maybe. The whole treatment to being Asian or a tourist or both was really off-putting. This was not really the tourist thing to do. Probably should stick to those flamenco shows in the city centre if you are a tourist. Leave these venues for the Spaniards to enjoy. They don’t want us there.

Our experience at Cafe Ziryab was exceptional! This was the first flamenco show we have ever seen, and it set the bar very high! The venue is intimate, and has a very local feel, unlike a lot of the flamenco venues we passed by in Madrid. We immediately felt welcomed when we were greeted at the door. Seeing a show at Cafe Ziryab feels so authentic...we are pretty sure that the majority of the crowd was a local, loyal following, so it felt like we were in on a little secret. The dancers and musicians were incredible, performing with so much passion! We were swept up in the emotion (even though we could not understand the words, as we do not speak Spanish). We would recommend this highly to anyone who wants to be carried away by a spectacular, thrilling performance!

Went with my parents and my cousin for all of our first time experiencing a flamenco show and it was very entertaining. The cafe seemed to fit ~30 people for the show which meant that it was not overly crowded and allowed for everyone to have a good view of the show. The dancers, guitar player, and singer were all extremely talented. Paired with a refreshing glass of Sangria made it all the better.

Fantastic experience. Great for families, our young boys were captivated! Great value, good vibe, enjoyable night out with laid back atmosphere and good service. Highly recommended!

This intimate cafe theater is a treat. Small enough so that everyone has a good view of the stage but not so small that it is uncomfortable. Members of the staff were friendly. The musicians and dancers appeared to be having a wonderful time which of course makes the audience enjoy the performance even more. In addition to regular tablao, the cafe is also home to unique and creative performances including one last week, that had an artist painting the scenes of the performers as it was happening. The products of that evening were hanging on the walls when I was there in March.

Really amazing value to watch flamenco. I would not call their small tapas "dinner", but the wine and beer was great, the dancing was amazing. really tiny venue not a bad seat in the house (although equally tiny and uncomfortable seating), really not a dinner place but amazing to watch flamenco!

We attended a flamenco show in this little and intimate bar. The atmosphere was beautiful as well as the show which delighted us with the passion and energy trasmitted by the artists. Last but not least: food and drinks were delicious. 100% recommended, trust us :)

We had a great time last night. As professional musicians, it was great to catch a top-quality show with some great singing, playing, and dancing. The musicians seemed like they were having a lot of fun together. The audience seemed like a mix of locals and tourists. The tapas were larger portions than we expected, and menu items as simple as the tortilla and tomatoes were delicious. We also had vino tinto and some espressos. When we visit again, we’ll definitely consider coming back. Gracias :)

It was an amazing night - we enjoyed ourselves a lot! All perfomers showed passion and a lot of skills. The audience were mainly foreigners, I hope this does not irritate the performers as, obviously, they are a bit more reserved when it comes to animating the performers. Food and drinks excellent! Very recommended!

What a great cafe! Not only are the food and drinks excellent, but it is also a great venue for Flamenco dancing. The intimate setting allows one to feel like you are in the dance as the dancers show off their incredible skill. It is evident that they love sharing this tradition with visitors.

I found this place while looking for a Flamenco show on Google and I just LOVED IT. I'll surely be back to this place whenever I come back to Madrid. The Cafe is really cozy and intimate, it really looks like you travelled away from the city while watching and listening to Spanish flamenco. The prices are fine and the staff was really nice and happy all the time.
